• Part-Time Reconciliation Specialist

    Description We are looking for a skilled Part-Time Reconciliation Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, and requires someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid accounting background. The position involves handling monthly reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy using QuickBooks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform bank reconciliations twice per month to ensure financial records align with bank statements.

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.

    • Record and review journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.

    • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

    • Assist with the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial transactions effectively.

    • Prepare and analyze financial reports as needed to support decision-making.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail and precision.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial transactions.

    • Strong skills in bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management.

    • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
