We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will focus on managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting key accounting processes and be working directly for the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice entry and payment.

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer billing and payment application.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

• Assist with the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary reports.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

• Support the preparation of financial statements and other key financial documents.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data or records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.

• Experience executing month-end close processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure financial accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
