What are your contributions to the team?

+ Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, retrofit, and/or rebuild hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric automotive systems in accordance with repair manual specifications

+ Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and/or repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for ground support equipment, for example, ground power units, lifts, hydraulic pressure carts, air carts, and compressors

+ Perform loading/unloading, removal, and/or transportation of hazardous/nonhazardous waste solids and liquids as required by assigned site

+ Perform basic carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and grounds maintenance and/or repair, for example, building shipping crates, unclogging drains, touch-up paint, changing light bulbs, switches, and fixtures, landscaping, cement work, roof repair, and picture hanging as required by assigned site

+ Performance of Fuel Farm repairs where there is fueling and defueling aircraft

How to thrive in this role?

+ Typically, 5 years' experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing hand tools (pneumatic, hydraulic, and conventional) and aircraft ground support equipment **OR** Typically, 4 years' professional experience in automotive repair and performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing hand tools (pneumatic, hydraulic, and conventional) **OR** equivalent work experience

+ Previous experience operating powered industrial vehicles and lifts

+ Technical reading skills necessary to read and interpret GSE repair manuals and schematics

+ Previous experience operating powered industrial vehicles and lifts

+ Previous experience in arc/gas/mig welding

+ Previous experience with electrical servicing aircraft (400hz.)
