    This position is based in Northbrook, Illinois. Hybrid work from certain states may be permitted in accordance with Astellas’ Responsible Flexibility Guidelines. Candidates interested in hybrid work are encouraged to apply.

    Purpose:

    Astellas is seeking to add a new U.S. Marketing team member to support the growth of PADCEV (enfortumab vedotin) in advanced urothelial cancer.

     

    The PADCEV HCP Promotion Strategist will be a key member of the brand team, serving as the Astellas lead in the development and implementation of promotional materials for Healthcare Providers, with a focus on Medical Oncologists and Urologists.

     

    This position is critical to PADCEV being able to achieve its brand objectives, requiring close collaboration with Astellas team members, our commercialization partner (Pfizer), and our advertising agencies.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    + Leads the end-to-end planning, scoping, development, and execution of personal and non-personal promotion for Oncologists and Urologists for both in-line and expanded indications.

    + Serves as the primary decision maker on HCP-related media planning and execution.

    + Has accountability for driving impact and making necessary adjustments to promotional execution for Oncologists and Urologists.

    + Engages in frequent communication with the GU Sales Team to gather insights, solicit feedback, and provide guidance on execution.

    + Uses market, customer, and promotional effectiveness insights to identify and propose solutions to business obstacles and maximize opportunities.

    + Collaborates with Professional Strategist, AHP Marketer, Market Access/Patient Marketer, Key Customer Marketers and Omnichannel team to identify opportunities for promotional and operational synergies and an enhanced customer experience.

    + Leads the facilitation of HCP promotional material reviews in EV-PREP (MAP) meetings.

    + Ensures assigned projects are planned appropriately, completed on time, and within budget.

    + Proactively manages the HCP marketing budget.

    + Contributes to the annual brand and tactical plan development.

    + Demonstrates agile ways of working, outcomes focus over task orientation, enterprise thinking over functional thinking, acts with urgency over waiting, and a collaborative approach aligned to Astellas and PADCEV-team culture.

    Qualifications Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + 7+ years of relevant experience (i.e., pharmaceutical marketing, consumer marketing, advertising, sales, market research, etc.).

    + Strong project management skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities.

    + Experience in successfully taking projects through the material review process.

    + Ability to demonstrate professional maturity and executive presence in front of higher-level management.

    + Ability to travel up to 30%

    Preferred:

    + Oncology experience

    + U.S. product launch experience

    + Prior exposure to a co-promotion brand

    + Experience in support of a product launch.

    + MBA degree or other related graduate-level degree

    Compensation Range:$140,000 - $187,000 00(NOTE: Final Salary could be more or less, based on experience.)
