CRST has an exciting opportunity for an **Account Manager** to join the team in Cedar Rapids. This position will be a part of our **Capacity Solutions** business unit!

Capacity Solutions Business Unit
CRST’s **Capacity Solutions** team strives every day to deliver reliable, efficient solutions with competitive rates, customer-focused service and advanced tracking systems. The Position
**Reporting Structure:** The Account Manager reports to the Manager - Key Accounts.
**Compensation:** CRST offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and a comprehensive benefits program.
**Job Schedule:** Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm
**Location:** Cedar Rapids, IA & On-Site
How will you help us drive towards results?
+ **Customer Freight Coordination –** Coordinate all aspects of customer freight understanding shipping needs and service expectations
+ **Relationship Building –** Build long-term relationships with customers
+ **Scorecard Tracking –** Track and reconcile scorecards with the customer
+ **Customer Communication –** Maintain consistent communication with the customer to solicit appropriate freight opportunities
+ **Volume Data Analysis –** Understand the volume data and trends of a customer
+ **Ad Hoc Freight Quoting –** Spot quote ad hoc freight for a customer
+ **Growth Opportunity Identification –** Identify growth opportunities with customers across the entire CRST Enterprise
+ **Microsoft Office Proficiency –** Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
+ **Transaction Review –** Review intermediate level transactions
+ **Customer Service –** Provide strong customer service skills
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration –** Work with cross functional teams
+ **Independent Work –** Ability to work independently
+ **Internal Service Reporting –** Report service internally
+ **Commitment Management –** Manage commitments with the customer
+ **Volume Leakage Management –** Address volume leakage and cancelations
+ **Customer Escalations –** Handle customer escalations
+ **Customer Call Management –** Schedule and participate in customer calls
+ **QBR Participation –** Participate in customer QBR’s
+ **Account Planning –** Participate in account plans for customers for growth
+ **Customer On-boarding –** Ensure successful on-boarding of new customers
+ **Shipment Monitoring –** Monitor shipments for successful on-time performance and pro-active communication
+ **Issue Resolution –** Collaborate with all internal departments to resolve customer/carrier issues
What will you bring to the table?
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ High Energy
+ High attention to detail
+ Organization and time management
+ Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone
+ Experience in logistics, supply chain, and or customer service
+ Ensure follow-up with customers
+ No transportation background required
