Description
The College of Business at Stony Brook University is seeking applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of Accounting, with a primary focus on Entity Taxation. We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional who can bring both academic knowledge and practical insights to the classroom. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in the field of taxation—particularly in the taxation of business entities—and will have substantial, relevant professional experience. A strong commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement is essential. Responsibilities:
+ Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting
+ Develop course content and materials in accordance with college and area guidelines
+ Provide academic support and guidance to students
+ Participate in department meetings and activities as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Accounting, Tax, M.B.A., or a closely related field. CPA License. Prior experience or demonstrated ability to teach in an educational institution or corporate/executive setting. Significant experience working in the field of accounting.
