    Test Vehicle Operator - 2nd Shift

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Operate prototype or experimental vehicles under test conditions to obtain performance data

    + Drive vehicles over closed circuit test courses to perform specified tests, observe and gather data from vehicles under test, and record readings from installed test equipment

    + Perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles and batteries producing related written reports and logs

    + Perform set up and maintenance of test course

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Work Hours Monday thru Friday:

    + Training required for 1-4 months on 1st Shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM

    + Regularly scheduled work hours on 2nd Shift: 3:00PM – 11:30PM

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks

    + Good oral and written communication skills

    + Basic math skills and computer skills

    + Ability to perform data entry and operate menu driven devices

    + Ability to read and understand detailed written instructions

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material

    + Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and test meters

    + Strong mechanical skills and practical experience in diagnosing problems with vehicles, machinery, or comparable equipment

    + Proven leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and guiding daily operations

    Work Authorization:
