    Position Summary:

    We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.

     

    St. Mary Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Hospital, with 26 beds in our Emergency Department. Our ER sees an average of 150 visits per day. We are certified by TJC as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, are a STEMI Heart Attack Center, and have been designated by Los Angeles County as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). We are also an Emergency Base Station.

     

    As our Nurse Manager Emergency Services at St. Mary Medical Center, you’ll oversee a department of frontline staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the nursing staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experiences, reach out to our community, and deliver quality care. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership.

Utilizing your excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups, you will tackle tough conversations and, above all, be an educator at heart.     Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience required.

    + Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience required.

    Required Licensure:

    + Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required,

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

    Pay Range

    $52.29 - $79.09 /hour
