    The Binghamton City School District is seeking candidates to fill an anticipated Elementary Math Interventionist Teacher position for the 2025-2026 school year. These are full-time, probationary tenure-track positions.

    Job Qualifications

    Applicants must be New York State certified . Math background and current math best practices are preferred.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Provides rigorous supplemental math instruction to students below grade level

    + Provides consultation and feedback to classroom teachers on student’s’ progress

    + Co-teaches/plans with classroom teachers to provide differentiated lessons to meet the needs of struggling students

    + Participates in the RTI process

    + Collaborates with colleagues and administration to support building goals

    + Seeks, designs, and assists in implementing best practices & professional development in mathematics
