Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Through the use of accepted techniques and practices, provides high quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging studies. Through safe operation and care of equipment ensures proper safety of patients to high magnetic fields and Diagnostic MRI procedures. Ensures safety of patients by following established guidelines for MRI procedure protocols and IV contrast administration. Communicates effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff. Able to evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities under pressure situations. Has the initiative to resolve customer problems by self, and involves supervisors as necessary. Provides professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics while following hospital policies, procedures and standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
+ One (1) year as an MRI technologist in a full-service Radiology/MRI Department
+ MRI Safety preferred
+ Certification in Radiological Technology issued by the State of California (CRT) preferred
+ California Fluoroscopic permit preferred Venipuncture/IV contrast Administration Certificate preferred

Pay Range
$66.49 - $66.49 /hour
