Work Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
Compensation: $21.74 - $21.74/hr

Tessera is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist with a positive attitude. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a variety of warehouse activities that require an understanding of the Installation Property Book Office (IPBO) storage plan. Responsible for moving inventory within the warehouse utilizing the forklift.
Requirements:
+ Responsible for organizing backup stock locations and assisting issue/turn-in areas. Helps to maintain workstation: breaking down boxes, and cleaning work areas.

+ Greets delivery drivers, verifies invoices with supply requisitions.
+ Assists in conducting monthly inventories. All items in warehouse are counted and documented on control sheet.
+ Assists with maintaining general cleanliness of warehouse area.
+ Moves inventory into and out of the warehouse, as needed. Moves inventory between locations within warehouse. Ensure all equipment is stored and stacked in a safe manner.
+ Ensure daily maintenance is performed on all forklifts and vehicles.
+ Operate vehicle in support of all IPBO functions.
+ Operate vehicle in accordance with all applicable civilian and government regulations.
+ Issue and receive turn ins of ceremonial flags.
+ Receive turn ins from supported customers.
+ Issue equipment to supported customers.
+ Process turn ins to Supply Support Activity (SSA)
+ Locate items within the IPBO warehouse.
+ Responsible for relocating and removing materials without damage and in a safe manner.
+ Responsible for loading and unloading trucks utilizing the forklift or pallet jack.
+ Responsible for transporting materials from their point of origin to their final destination as specified in each work order and issued in a timely manner.
+ Operators are proficient with the operation of material handling equipment in and around the Fort Eustis, SSA.
Qualifications:
+ Working knowledge of a Central Issue Facility is preferred.
+ Must have a basic working knowledge of storage requirements as described in TM 743-200 Series.
+ Must be physically capable of transporting, storing, issuing, and receipting for materials and merchandise.
+ Excellent customer service skills required.
+ Must be able to work effectively as a team.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
+ May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
+ Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
+ Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
+ Valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
