Inventory and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst
Inventory Management and Data Analytics
• Forecast parts and SKU demand, manage purchase orders, and optimize stock levels across multiple locations to support customer service excellence.
• Analyze inventory and supply chain data to identify trends.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and scalable reports to visualize inventory performance, KPI’s and supply chain metrics.
• Conduct exploratory and root cause data analysis to provide actionable insights that improve purchasing, stock management, and operational strategies.
• Maintain and optimize business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring data quality, integrity and governance across reporting and analytical tools.
Strategic Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and drive a data driven culture.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly through visualizations and presentations for both technical and non- technical audiences.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, business intelligence tools, and best practices in analytics to support ongoing innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Experience:
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field, ideally in a multi-location, high-volume environment.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, extraction, and modeling.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data visualization, and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
Analytical and Business Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into practical, strategic inventory recommendations.
• Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, demand planning, and inventory forecasting.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present data-driven insights to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
