Summary:
The Trade Compliance Manager is responsible for site wide export and import compliance programs. These include coordination with staff that perform transaction processing and transaction due diligence, analysis of red flags, complex troubleshooting, assisting with training and procedure writing, and management of trade compliance recordkeeping systems, and coordination with business partners, freight forwarders and customs brokers, and various internal departments.
Position Duties:
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Files export information in the ACE portal.
• Coordinates imports with SAI’s customs broker.
• Prepares complex license or permit applications, and other international business documents.
• Manages government authorizations throughout their life cycle.
• Works pro-actively with all departments to prevent trade disruptions.
• Analyzes contracts and identify trade compliance issues.
• Ensures global trade records are maintained in accordance with government and SAI document retention requirements.
• Assess compliance processes as necessary to recommend improvements and document procedures.
• Develops best practices and policies and devise process innovations to improve the quality and efficiency of the Import and Export Compliance operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of 5 years’ experience with export/import regulatory compliance.
• Strong familiarity with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Strong computer skills including ability to research orders and prepare reports in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Resources Planning (ERP) information systems. Strong MS Excel skills are a plus.
• Experience with international business transactions and shipping documents such as filing exports in the ACE portal.
• Ability to develop or revise procedures, work instructions, forms and business flowcharts.
• Ability to lead and train others in trade compliance subject matter.
• Experience with OCR EASE trade compliance software is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
