Job Summary
Support for the Purchasing group with main focus on the indirect order processing side
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Princ
Review indirect purchase order requisitions and process purchase orders with appropriate suppliers including review of quotes and follow-up for acknowledgements. Recommends alternate suppliers where a savings in cost or improved delivery will result. Resolve simple problems that arise in relation to delivery dates, quality, specifications, quantity, or cost of purchased goods or services. May need guidance from buyer or manager for more complex issues. Main contact with Accounts Payable regarding questions on order receipts for payment. Support for the Logistics group – assistance with reports, presentations, quote management, contract management, JDE system. Participates in internal meetings with suppliers as required. Assist with P-Card management. Assist with new vendor setup. Backup for sterile lot processing, coordinate with OSP suppliers

+ Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
+ Excellent writing and presentation skills.
+ Detail oriented.
+ Basic understanding of accounting
Education/Experience Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree required. A combination of education and experience with up to 2 years of experience.
+ General business or purchasing experience a plus.
Salary: $22 - $24 p/h (Exempt)
**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
