RN Staffing Specialist, Full-time, First Shift

UC Health is hiring a full-time RN Staffing Specialist for the UC Medical Center.

The RN Staffing Specialist assists the RN Staffing Supervisor with the daily operations of the UC Health Central Staffing Office. They work with Nursing Leadership, Nursing House Supervisor team, and Staffing Coordinators to ensure the staffing schedules are aligned appropriately for current and upcoming shifts in the various divisions and campuses. The RN Staffing Specialist is a key liaison with the Agency Staffing team for UC Health and assists with determining appropriate levels and placement of inpatient agency staff. The RN Staffing Specialist assists staffing coordinators and senior staffing coordinators as needed, is a super-user of the electronic scheduling system, and assists with balancing schedules to maximize capacity and throughput, while ensuring it is completed in the most efficient manner possible. This role is a department advocate for clinical quality and safety and can represent the clinician experience in decisions being made.
