    SMX is seeking a skilled **Project** **Management Specialist** tobe part of ourInformation Technology Team supporting NAWCADat Patuxent River,MD. TheProject Managertasking includesanalyzing requirements, status, budget, and schedules as part of leading projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Analyze and evaluate program/project objectives

    + Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules

    + Perform management, technical, or business case analysis

    + Collect complete, organize, and interpret data relating to project acquisition and product programs

    + Track program/project status, budgets, resources, and schedules

    + Prepare documentation and briefs on project status, budget, schedules, etc. for presentation to customers and management

    Required Skills:

    + Clearance Required: Secret, Non-NISP to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

    + Ability to maintain a Secret Clearance

    + Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

    + 7+ years of related IT experience required

    Desired Skills:

    + Past DoD experience

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + PMP certification
