Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
+ 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
+ Experience with Docker, Cloud Systems, and Infrastructure Systems.
+ Experience with Performance and Memory Management.
+ Experience in C++ and Go.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
+ Experience developing accessible technologies.
+ Experience with cloud computing and Serverless/containerized workloads.
+ Experience with Kubernetes, Kernel, Virtualization, Systems Internals, or Filesystem.

Serverless removes the burden of infrastructure management for Google Cloud customers by automatically scaling infrastructure up and down from zero almost instantaneously—depending on traffic. The Serverless Data Plane organization comprises the set of teams that own the components which route customer traffic and run their code as the underlying infrastructure for our products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Design, implement, and maintain the sandbox environment that is at the heart of executing and serving our customers' applications.
+ Work with key components of our virtualization platform I/O and core execution subsystems. Work with other engineers to improve the performance, reliability, and feature set of virtual machine interfaces related to storage, networking, memory management, and process interactions. Our stack is primarily C++ and Go.
+ Apply understanding of software principles and systems programming to debug complex issues, optimize code paths, implement features, and contribute to the overall architecture of our stack.
