    The Process Engineer-Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and verifying manufacturing processes. The role focuses on enhancing industrial processes while ensuring a safe working environment that consistently produces high-quality components and assemblies on schedule and at competitive market prices.

    Responsibilities

    + Represent manufacturing in product development efforts.

    + Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.

    + Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.

    + Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.

    + Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.

    + Provide digital media for the manufacture and inspection of cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.

    + Perform process simulations.

    + Manage cost and time constraints.

    + Perform risk assessments.

    + Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

    + Carry out other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    + 7-10 years of experience in Operations.

    + Experience in process simulations.

    + Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.

    + CAD or AutoCAD skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + SolidWorks experience preferred.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is onsite in Arlington within a small wire harness manufacturing environment in the aerospace and defense industry.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
