    Job Description

    The Financial Analyst II performs a range of accounting, customer service, and organizational functions essential to promoting financial health within the organization. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external members and IS NOT a medical coding position. This position will remain remote. However, if converted to a permanent employee, the position will be Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote). Therefore, all applicants MUST be within 60 minutes of the following locations:

    * Louisiana: Baton Rouge

    * Pennsylvania: Allentown

    Responsibilities

    + Search carrier statements for payment inconsistencies or errors, ensuring plan participants are correctly charged at the EE/ER tier.

    + Perform monthly verification and accuracy checks on all assigned accounts, researching and following up to ensure timely identification and reporting of corrections.

    + Implement strategic processes and evaluate methods to achieve accurate results, independently solving problems using critical communication methods.

    + Follow Standard Operating Processes concerning timely payment and reconciliation procedures, with the flexibility to adapt to procedural changes based on business needs.

    + Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure proper billing procedures and functions are supported.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reconciliation, financial analysis, and accounting.

    + Advanced skills in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and financial modeling.

    + Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.

    + Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

    + Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to apply critical thought.

    + Strong verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain issues and present resolutions clearly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's Degree preferred with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience with an advanced understanding of the reconciliation process.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This role is 100% remote, with the potential to work in a hybrid environment if transitioned to a permanent position.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
