    Job Description: Quality ManagerResponsibilities

    + Develop and implement quality processes

    + Collect, record, and analyze statistical data

    + Serve as the management representative for the IATF-based quality management system, leading compliance and continual improvement efforts

    + Spearhead external third-party and internal audit processes, train internal auditors, determine schedules and priorities, develop reports, and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits

    + Coordinate all activities leading up to and during IATF periodic, recertification, and transition audits (third party)

    + Investigate and analyze customer concerns and returns, determining containment, disposition, root cause, corrective action, and implementation of preventive actions using tools such as 5Y and 8D

    + Compile and maintain key performance metrics such as machine scrap, foundry scrap, and PPM

    + Prepare PPAP documentation for new products, including Control Plan, FMEA’s, Flow Diagram, and PSW

    + Coordinate capability studies and SPC activities

    + Manage inspection lab activities and personnel

    + Interface daily with engineering regarding current product issues and new product launches

    + Implement new processes and procedures

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a CMM Programmer, CMM Operator, and Quality Inspector

    + Proficiency in using micrometers and understanding of castings

    + Knowledge of CMM, IATF, Quality Manager responsibilities, GD&T, PPAP, Blueprint, and ISO 9001 standards

    + At least 3 years of Quality Engineering experience

    + 3 years of experience in the castings and forging industry

    + 2 years of experience in CMM operating or programming

    + 3 years of Supplier Quality experience

    + Understanding of IATF and AIAG

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $53.00/hr.
