    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling both the movement and documentation of materials. This role requires proficiency in forklift operation, inventory management, and the use of RF scanners.

    Responsibilities

    + Transport pallets of finished products from production using a forklift or pallet jack.

    + Store pallets in their designated warehouse locations.

    + Pick orders accurately and efficiently.

    + Load trucks with finished products when they are ready for shipment.

    + Unload trucks of raw materials and ensure proper storage.

    + Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accuracy.

    + Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities.

    + Document all movements and transactions within the warehouse.

    + Label products and pallets correctly to ensure proper identification.

    + Print tickets for orders and shipments as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in using warehouse management software and other computer applications.

    + Ability to generate reports and maintain electronic records.

    + Experience with forklift operation, material handling, and inventory management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with sit-down / pallet forklift operation.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place in a specialty paint manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village. The environment is clean for a paint company, with strong but well-ventilated paint odors. Employees will have the opportunity to tour the facility during the interview to ensure comfort with the surroundings. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, handling 55-gallon drums, and requires maneuvering rather than lifting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
