Job Title: HVAC Sheet Metal Helper

**Pay:** $18-$20/hr.

**Shift:** 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

**Location:** West Seneca, NY

Job Description

We are seeking an HVAC Sheet Metal Helper skilled in sheet metal fabrication, fittings, and the use of press brakes. While experience with MIG/TIG welding is beneficial, it is not required. The role involves lifting and mechanical tasks within the HVAC service sector.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in sheet metal fabrication and fittings.

+ Operate press brakes efficiently.

+ Support duct work and HVAC service tasks.

+ Follow safety rules and requirements diligently.

+ Provide excellent customer service.

+ Be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical skills.

+ Experience in sheet metal and fabrication.

+ Knowledge of duct work and HVAC service.

+ EPA Universal certification.

+ OSHA 10 certification.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

+ General labor and assembly skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 1 year of commercial/residential HVAC field experience.

+ Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

+ Ability to use ladders for roof access.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

+ Clean driver's license.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean, climate-controlled shop working alongside a shop lead. The shift times are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Seneca, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
