Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team and work on the assembly of sheet metal for paint spray booths at Langley AFB. This role involves working primarily in a commercial and industrial setting, focusing on the installation of insulated panels and ductwork using a lift.
Responsibilities
+ Bond together sheet metal for paint spray booths.
+ Install insulated panels and ductwork on lifts.
+ Work on building construction sites using scissors lifts.
+ Install bolt-together steel I-beam structures and metal panels.
Essential Skills
+ Experience working in an industrial/commercial construction setting.
+ Proficiency in sheet metal and ductwork installation.
+ 3+ years of experience in the sheet metal trade.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience as a millwright or iron worker is beneficial.
+ JM license is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment
Work a standard 40-hour week from Monday to Friday. The role will involve working in a commercial and industrial environment, utilizing equipment such as scissors lifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.04 - $25.00/hr.
