Welder Mechanic
Job Description
As a Welder Mechanic, you will work on tanker trucks carrying petroleum. You will be responsible for fabricating on tanker trucks, repairing damaged parts, and troubleshooting issues. This role requires experience with welding on large equipment and repairing welding. Experience with aluminum welding is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
+ Fabricate and repair tanker trucks.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on equipment.
+ Perform welding tasks on large equipment and repair welding as needed.
+ Conduct repairs and maintenance primarily in the service center, with occasional field service repairs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with mechanic work on trailers, tanks, hoses, and conveyors.
+ Proficiency in general labor and mechanic maintenance.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and cleaning procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in aluminum welding.
+ Experience with repair welding.
+ Experience in shop or agricultural welding.

Work Environment
You will work in a shop environment with about 15 employees, focusing on tanker trucks and configuring parts. The company is part of a nationwide network with approximately 350 employees, offering a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stockton, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
