Job Title: Associate Tech/Machine Operator

Job Description

The Associate Tech/Machine Operator will be responsible for completing daily machine setups, tracking machine output and equipment downtime, and compiling daily reports for supervisors. The role requires basic computer literacy and involves making minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting. The operator will also be cross-trained on multiple machines and will be responsible for moving materials around the manufacturing floor and lifting materials into machines for output/input.

Responsibilities

+ Complete daily machine setups using basic computer skills.

+ Track daily machine output and equipment downtime.

+ Compile daily reports for supervisors.

+ Perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshooting.

+ Wear latex gloves and clean room attire, including face masks, as required.

+ Lift materials weighing 40+ pounds.

+ Stand and move for 8-10+ hours a day.

+ Commit to longevity and follow directions.

+ Engage in stretching exercises every morning.

+ Adapt to a fast-paced environment by learning from others and asking questions.

+ Demonstrate sharp aptitude and great attention to detail.

Essential Skills

+ Basic computer literacy.

+ Ability to lift 40+ pounds.

+ Commitment to a fast-paced work environment.

+ Comfort with wearing latex gloves and clean room attire all day.

+ Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No experience required but helpful.

+ Good attendance record.

+ Open to working 6 days a week if necessary.

+ Mandatory overtime.

Work Environment

The role is situated in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, involving standing for 8-12 hours a day. Expect daily metrics and highly repetitive short-cycle assembly tasks. The dress code is casual, but close-toed shoes and eyewear are required throughout the shift. Employees have the opportunity to advance into lead or controller positions based on performance. The work schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.97 - $20.97/hr.
