Job Title:Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic with extensive experience in repairing mobile mining equipment. This role requires a minimum of three years of hands-on experience with renowned mining equipment brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Liebherr. Candidates should be adept in machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacements.

Relocation assistance will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain mobile mining equipment with a minimum of three years of experience.

+ Perform machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacements.

+ Disassemble and assemble/rebuild Frac Transmissions.

+ Conduct welding fabrication, including arc welding, metal inert gas welding, and arc gouging, using an oxyacetylene torch.

+ Provide technical expertise on hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.

+ Ability to operate a service vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.

+ Capability to lift more than 50 pounds.

+ Perform duties with urgency and exceed customer expectations.

+ Ability to work independently in the field.

+ Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced service environment.

+ Maintain a sufficient tool inventory.

+ Commitment to a safe working record.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 14-7 rotation with working hours from 6am to 3pm. The role involves both indoor and outdoor responsibilities in a shop environment. The location is in the LA area, offering a vibrant and challenging service environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Braithwaite, Louisiana.Relocation assistance is available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.

relocation + full benefits+ sign on bonus of $5k

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Shreveport,LA.
