Job Title: Performance Parts/Vehicle Personalization Buyer
Job Description
We are seeking a Performance Parts Buyer to utilize SAP/Ariba for managing sourcing and supporting vehicle launches. This role involves market testing, analyzing responses, awarding sourcing of parts, supporting business case development for new products, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, expediting parts delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional team members. The ideal candidate will creatively seek opportunities for process improvements and communicate effectively with suppliers and coworkers.
Responsibilities
+ Perform market tests, analyze responses, and award sourcing of FPP parts.
+ Support business case development for new products.
+ Review low stock parts and issue purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Follow up on past due purchase orders and track shipments.
+ Review open backorders on a weekly basis and expedite parts delivery.
+ Update lead times, minimum order quantities, and reorder points as needed.
+ Follow established purchasing practices and procedures.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver successful products.
+ Creatively seek and bring forward opportunities for process improvements.
+ Write professional communications to suppliers and coworkers.
+ Present opinions and ideas in meetings with varying levels of management.
+ Function proficiently in MS Office software systems, particularly Excel.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of experience in buyer/purchasing in automotive.
+ SAP/Ariba experience.
+ Negotiation experience with suppliers.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
+ Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
+ Self-starter, fast learner, and problem solver.

+ Highly organized and able to coordinate presentations.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
+ Aftermarket or performance parts experience.
+ Supply chain, purchasing, business degree.
+ Examples of identifying cost savings or process improvements.
+ Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $49.00/hr.
