Role Overview

We are seeking a Back-End Software Developer to join our growing digital transformation team. This position plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications and APIs that power our analytics, AI-driven platforms, and business systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, and commercial leads to deliver secure, efficient, and high-performing software systems that support core business operations.

Main Areas of Responsibility and Key Activities

+ Architect, build, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using modern frameworks and technologies.

+ Integrate databases and cloud services, ensuring efficient data flow and availability for analytics and application use.

+ Collaborate with data and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional code.

+ Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and maintainability through clean and well-documented code.

+ Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment.

+ Monitor and troubleshoot back-end systems and proactively address potential bottlenecks or bugs.

+ Support the implementation of AI/ML capabilities into back-end infrastructure when needed.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Education & Work Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or arelated field.

+ 5+ years of experience in back-end software development with a proven portfolio of deployed applications.

Technical Proficiency:

+ Strong proficiency in one or more back-end languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js).

+ Solid experience with API development and integration.

+ Proficient in working with relational and SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

+ Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

+ Knowledge of security principles and data protection best practices in application development.

+ Experience with server monitoring and logging tools is a plus.

Soft Skills:

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

+ Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
