    Lumber Building Materials company location in Woodinville, WA is currently hiring for an Inside Sales Coordinator. The Inside Sales Coordinator executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts, and implementing sales initiatives. Their primary focus is supporting the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and helping to manage construction schedules. The Sales Coordinator receives daily direction from the Outside Sales Person on the team and reports to the Branch Manager. Interacts daily with Production Managers and both internal and external customers.

     

    This position will interact regularly with department employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team, IT Department) and interact regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates.

     

    Pay - $25/hr. - $28/hr. (depending on relevant industry experience, job title, tenure, etc.)

     

    Contract Duration - 3 Months Contract-To-Hire

     

    Location - Fife, WA (100% Onsite Monday - Friday)

    (Responsibilities)

    + Establishes and maintains professional relationships with customers

    + Sends orders to purchasing for processing.

    + Greets customers professionally.

    + Answers phone promptly with a professional greeting.

    + Communicates with a wide number of customers in the Residential Construction industry and helps to sell and manage the timely flow of building materials to their jobsite.

    + Proactively set, reach for, and meet (or exceed) personal sales and profit goals.

    + Primary player in deepening customer relationships and scheduling timely material shipments - ensuring account profitability as well as customer satisfaction & loyalty.

    + Ability to sell on overall quality, value, and service, rather than price.

    + Precisely and efficiently manage one's time and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.

    + Communicate with dispatch or the production manager to ensure that they are not overpromising deliveries to customers.

    + Sends orders to dispatch with a request for pickup.

    + Maintains customer profiles in Outlook or CRM to include full name, company name, title, office number, cell number, email, and matrix.

    + Maintains the cleanliness of the workspace.

    + Follows best practices in order entry, setting up deliveries, and all aspects of the job.

    + Walks the customer to the product in the store.

    + Introduces himself/herself to the customer and uses the customer's name when possible.

    + Manages their open orders to ensure orders are being invoiced in a timely manner or deleted.

    + Identifies customers' urgency and completes orders quickly.

    + Confirms the customer's material needs prior to sending deliveries.

    + Completes quotes and follows up in a timely manner.

    + Has a high level of follow-through with orders - ensures inventory arrives, communicates with customers, etc.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned

    (Qualification Requirements)

    + 1+ years of experience being a Sales Coordinator.

    + Must have building materials and/or construction materials knowledge.

    + Strong communication skills through in-person, phone, and email.

    + 40+ WPM

    + Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite.

    + Must have reliable transportation.

    + Ability to achieve sales goals and objectives.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
