CNC Machinist and Programmer

Job Description

At NC manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of precision components, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts. You will read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models, and develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery, ensuring that finished products meet quality standards and specifications. Collaboration with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes is also a key part of this role

Pay and Shift

+ 50,000 - 65,000

+ 6 am - 2pm

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot parts and programs.

+ Conduct First Article Inspections, document, and submit findings.

+ Utilize layout and inspection tools such as edge finders, co-axial indicators, mics, calipers, and gauges.

+ Design and fabricate tools and fixtures for new and existing jobs to ensure safe and efficient setups.

+ Review and improve current and older programs for efficiency and revisions.

+ Create, view, manipulate, and edit 3D models using CAD/CAM software to meet part geometry and tolerancing requirements.

+ Design, develop, and prototype customer products, working with customers to understand design requirements.

+ Resolve part problems and manage part revisions/changes in collaboration with customers.

+ Support machine operators and quality assurance with tools, gauges, and assistance for continual process improvement.

+ Quote new jobs and develop production plans for new production, while seeking improvements in current manufacturing methodologies.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with HAAS CNC Mills and Lathes.

+ Experience with Mazak CNC Machines.

+ Proficiency in Mastercam programming software.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Strong understanding of CNC machining and programming.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Crestview, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
