Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateCardiologistto join our multidisciplinary team in delivering patient-centered, comprehensive cardiovascular care. Key Responsibilities

+ Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, heart disease, and heart failure

+ Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests

+ Develop personalized care plans and collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care

+ Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, risk factor management, and long-term cardiac health

+ Participate in community health initiatives and screenings to raise awareness about cardiovascular wellness

+ Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system in compliance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies

+ Support BMS’s integrative health model by working closely with behavioral health, nutrition, and social services teams

Requirements

Qualifications

+ MD or DO from an accredited medical school

+ Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology

+ Valid New York State medical license and DEA registration

+ Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to culturally competent care

+ Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred
