Job Title: Welder – Pressure Vessels & Piping

Lockport, NY

**Pay:** $28-33+/hr

1st shift

_Job Description:_

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder with strong expertise in pressure vessel and piping fabrication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple welding processes and capable of interpreting technical documents and blueprints to meet high-quality standards.

_Key Responsibilities:_

+ Perform MIG, TIG, Pulse, and Flux Core welding applications

+ Weld components in accordance with ASME or AWS codes

+ Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques for various metals

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

+ Conduct first article and random inspections to ensure compliance with specifications

+ Work primarily with carbon steel (85%) and stainless steel (15%)

_Required Skills:_

+ Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding

+ Experience with fitting and pipe welding

+ Skilled in working with carbon steel and stainless steel

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical documents

+ Familiarity with measuring tools and fabrication techniques

+ Experience with pressure vessel welding and fabrication

_Additional Qualifications:_

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, piping, and pressure vessel fabrication

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Comfortable using bench and measuring tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
