• Travel Cable Technician

    TEKsystems (Alcoa, TN)


    Description

    Seeking candidates with 1 to 2 years of cabling or electrical experience who are eager to learn. The role involves traveling to schools in the Bristol and Middle Tennessee areas. Work schedules will be 4 days a week, with shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours, including overtime. Per diem will be provided.

     

    This individual will work alongside a lead technician, gaining hands-on experience in installing MC and fire alarm cables, programming, and running conduit. They will also learn to read blueprints and install cables, loops, and circuits.

     

    Candidates will meet at the companies local office every Monday to carpool with colleagues to the work site. They will stay from Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of staying Thursday night and departing Friday morning, depending on when the workday concludes on Thursday.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
