    About You

     

    We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Quality Engineer. In this role, you will strengthen Dymax’s adhesive quality and compliance performance by executing assigned quality improvement activities, resolving technical problems, maintaining audit readiness, and promoting operational compliance to standards.

    You will:

    + Resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions by applying CAPA, 8D, and FMEA methodologies to address production, customer, or supplier quality concerns and recommending permanent solutions.

    + Apply quality standards and preventative measures across operations by implementing risk-based plans, monitoring adherence to procedures, and escalating deviations requiring corrective actions.

    + Manage calibration and inspection activities by reviewing performance data, verifying calibration schedules, and initiating updates or replacements as needed.

    + Embed quality practices into manufacturing and development processes by validating workflows, reviewing product lifecycle quality deliverables, and recommending enhancements to quality checkpoints.

    + Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance customer satisfaction by investigating complaints, identifying recurring failure patterns, and driving actionable improvements into operations.

    + Strengthen quality expertise within project teams by providing technical insights during reviews, reinforcing standard work practices, and promoting adherence to quality best practices.

    + Maintain ISO compliance and audit readiness by preparing documentation, conducting internal quality reviews, and addressing audit findings through corrective measures.

    + Coordinate technical communications with customers and suppliers by clarifying product quality requirements, managing feedback loops, and ensuring follow-through on agreed quality improvements

    Requirements

    You should have:

    + 3+ years of progressive quality engineering, manufacturing, or process engineering experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field – or equivalency

    + Familiarity with CAPA, RCA, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D problem-solving, and risk-based quality systems.

    + Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

    + Understanding of regulatory compliance (ISO, ASTM, ANSI) and quality assurance methodologies.

    + Background in adhesives, coatings, or related chemical manufacturing preferred.

    + Proficiency with QMS systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and basic statistical tools

    Compensation: $73,700 - $105,900

     

    Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package, including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
