    We are seeking 2nd Shift Production Assistant for our CTI Fabrication Division in Romeoville, IL

     

    Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm.

     

    Pay/Benefits

     

    + Starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr based on experience.

    Job offers are conditional based on successful completion of drug screen, physical, and background check.

    JOB DUTIES:

    + Assist Laser Operators in the efficient processing, delivery and removal of material to and from the laser machines. Specific duties include:

    + Operate handling equipment to load and unload tubes/product to/from the laser machine

    + Monitor machine when operator is not present and ensure its continued operation; load/unload material and check for general acceptable cut condition of completed parts

    + Assist operators with loading and packaging laser cut parts into boxes

    + Use quality tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers to conduct quality inspection of parts

    + Assist in the secondary operations required to complete parts (tapping, cleaning, grinding)

    + Follow all health & safety standards

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + The ideal candidate should possess these basic skills:

    + Experience in the use of standard inspection measuring tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers

    + Ability to perform basic math and trigonometry

    + Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule

    + Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds

    + Ability to read blueprints and Bills of Material
