• Pathology Assistant - Cleveland - Days

    Amergis (Cleveland, OH)


    Salary: $3903 / Week

     

    This position is performed under the direction and supervision of a licensed Pathologist and requires comprehensive knowledge of Anatomic Pathology processes, scientific principles, practices, concepts, and theories in order to perform a variety of duties in surgical and/or autopsy pathology within the scope of practice.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Anatomic Pathology processes, scientific principles and practices, concepts, and theories providing for sound independent work

    + At least one year of working experience as a Pathology Assistant preferred

    + Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists Assistant training program required

    + Certification as a Pathologists Assistant from ASCP BOC, preferred, unless required by state or client contract

    + State licensure, per state or client contract

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
