Position Help Desk Technician
Description
Rate: $29.00 an hour
About this role
Maintain and manage users and computers in a Hybrid environment using Active Directory and Microsoft O365. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support to OR computer users related to systems, hardware, and software. Respond to queries, run diagnostics, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Work closely with the IT Manager in maintaining assets and IT Lifecycle Management. Occasionally travel between OR locations (Des Moines, WA and El Monte, CA).

+ Desire to be a key member of a small Information Systems Team
Preferred Qualifications and Skillset:
+ Technical degree with relevant IT experience
+ Use of Microsoft Active Directory
+ Microsoft O365/M365 (Office, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams), and Azure Active Directory
+ Understanding of Windows Client/Server platforms, Windows 10 to Windows 11 and Windows 2013 to Windows 2025 server editions
+ Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi network protocols
+ MacOS support in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
+ Windows application maintenance and deployment using PDQ Inventory/Deploy or similar
+ Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users
+ Use of managed desktop security products, Cylance or Microsoft Windows Security
+ Basic use of PowerShell for management of AD and Office 365
+ Support of mobile VPN solution, Fortinet
+ Support of PC/Mac hardware and peripherals and office automation equipment such as printers, scanners and copiers
+ User onboarding/offboarding processes
+ Creation and maintenance of user training and administrative documentation
+ Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers
+ Must be able to handle multiple tasks on a fast faced environment

Physical Requirements
+ Use of keyboard, mouse, monitor, sitting, bending, stooping, crawling, standing, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, walking up and down steps, using ladder, etc.
+ Must be able to lift 25 pounds
