    The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

    Job Summary

    Candidate will work with Principal Software Engineer on projects that have been pre-engineered to increase internal efficiency and/or technologies/capabilities adjacent to program needs.

     

    Our objective is to engage a candidate in advance of graduation, train them as an intern then retain them after graduation.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support engineering with routine engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks

    • Work independently on daily tasks

    • Under direction, responsible for completing process documentation

    • Assist in the creation of documentation to maintain equipment

    • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Junior/Senior level college student majoring in Software Engineering or Computer Science

    • Novice technical expertise and beginning familiarity with the shop/laboratory and equipment
