_POSITION SUMMARY:_

To ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner, handle all payment transactions, maximize guest satisfaction, and perform general duties as assigned by the Golf Professional.

_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_

+ Handle all sales transactions made through the Golf Shop

+ Maintain accurate records for the Golf Shop with special emphasis on retail/golf transactions

+ Report stock levels of guest, retail, and office supplies to manager

+ Maintain a high level of cleanliness for all areas within the Department

+ Adhere to all rules and regulations established in standard operation procedure manual for BCG/BCL/Bass Pro Shops

+ Report all incidents of guest dissatisfaction to the manager

+ Report all accidents/injuries that occur during the execution of Golf Shop business or on Big Cedar Lodge property through proper channels.

+ Assist guests with the highest level of professionalism

+ The Golf Shop Attendant will maintain accurate records with special emphasis on inventory control and sales records

+ Have computer and inventory brand knowledge

+ Have overall knowledge of the game of golf and in sales of related merchandise, golf clubs, balls, bags, gloves, etc.

+ Perform other duties as required

_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_

+ Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Minimum 3 months’ retail experience and basic understanding of golf operations preferred

+ Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

+ Other Skills and Abilities - The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

**_INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT_** :

Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by the supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
