*Location*: Hershey, PA * Payband:* 1A * Reports to*: Manager, Benefits Administration * Department*: Delivery Services * Summary of Role*: Manage health and welfare plans and vendors for US & CA markets ensuring compliance and service levels according to contracts. Key contributor in the open enrollment communication and deployment; coordinating marketing and communications of benefits throughout the year and review of data integrity with vendors. * Role Responsibilities*: * Program development and compliance related to health and welfare plans for active employees. Support the contract renewal process, analyze responses and evaluate vendors. Make recommendations based on vendor performance and employee feedback. Assist in vendor selection of health and welfare plans to include contract review, development of employee communications, and marketing of new programs, program administration and health plan evaluation. Work independently with vendors to ensure proper program administration and compliance with contractual agreements. * Key contributor to the Benefits Open Enrollment, responsibilities to include support for project management and execution for active open enrollment. Interface with Total Rewards Solution Center and IS. Be a part of User Acceptance Testing for new systems and upgrades. * Serve as Benefit Partner and act as liaison for all locations regarding high-level benefits issues and communications. Resolve issues and concerns, assist in employee communications serving as the contact for tier 2 benefit-related questions or complaints, working directly with vendors to resolve issues. Provide benefit plan expertise, consultation and design recommendations as a team member. Escalate issues to the Total Rewards Team as needed. * Reporting and analysis of data to ensure accurate transmission of data between Hershey and their benefits vendors. Identify issues and investigate the root cause. Suggest resolutions and liaise with IS or responsible parties to enact process or system fixes. * Assist in M&A and other employee related projects by being a subject matter expert on Hershey benefits, processes, and master data. Collect and validate data that will be received from or transmitted to partners in the transition process. * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements*: * Education – o Bachelor degree * Experience – o At least 2-5 years of experience in health and welfare administration o Microsoft Suite applications experience (Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook) #LI-TL1 #LI-Onsite The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
