    **Job Title** : Logistics Specialist

    **Location:** Packaging Operations Center Shelbyville, TN

    Responsibilities:

    + The Logistics Specialist will assist shift Supervisor with executing daily production plans and directing warehouse functions including production punch, returns, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.

    + Provide feedback on performance and identify any additional training needed for all employees.

    + Follow all safety and security policies and demonstrates Company Code of Conduct.

    + Proactively solves issues in performance including ergonomics, waste, productivity, and efficiency challenges.

    + Active participant in group meetings, owns a SEAL program, is a STOP auditor.

    + Assist in coaching and developing employees, including conducting job-related training.

    + Effectively communicates with all shifts.

    + Promote high level of quality standards

    + Assist the facility in achieving all goals and work as a team to meet goals and objectives.

    + Participate and lead incident investigations and complete documentation as necessary.

    + Assist in hiring and review process.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Team orientated, self-motivated and positive attitude

    + Demonstrated leadership abilities

    + Work with minimal supervision

    + Strong leadership and communication skills including presentation skills.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    + Self-start and possess the ability to work independently and as a part of a team

    + Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Visual aptitude – must be able to see with or without correction

    + Communication – ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally

    + Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during the workday.

    Education/Experience** **:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + 3-5 years warehouse experience preferred.

    + Consumer products industry experience preferred
