    Full Time: 40 hours

     

    Weekends: None

     

    Holidays: Not Required

     

    On Call: Not Required

     

    Ultrasound Tech 1: $27.79 - $35.21

     

    Ultrasound Tech 2 & 3: $29.74 - $37.67

     

    Occasionally employees may be asked or required to work additional hours than their normal schedule up to, including, or over 40 hours per week.

    Ultrasound/Radiologic Technologist

     

    Full Time: 40 hours

     

    Weekends: Occasional

     

    Holidays: Occasional

     

    On Call: Occasional

     

    $39.35- 49.84

    Requirements

    Ultrasound Technologist I/ Ultrasound Technologist II/ Ultrasound Technologist III

    Requirements:

    Required- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Ultrasound technology, be certified as a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMA), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), and/or a Dianostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR, meet the prerequisites and requirements to become registered as a RDMS or RDCS sonographer within two (2) year of date of hire.

    Essential Duties:

    To obtain quality diagnostic ultrasound images of specified body parts ordered by a provider under the direct or indirect supervision of that provider, radiologist, cardiologist, or other qualified provider, while using diagnostic medical ultrasound equipment as directed by a Medical Provider who interprets the images, and/or utilizing set protocols. Utilize accessory equipment such as a transducer, dopplers, probes, computers, printers, PACS workstations and EMR processes. Prepare and explain procedures to patients. Report changes in patient condition to appropriate medical staff. Be able to provide an oral and/or written summary of preliminary findings to the interpreting or ordering provider. Evaluate quality of sonograms. Determine if any additional images or procedures are indicated.

    Ultrasound/Radiologic Technologist

    Requirements:

    Same as listed above and if performing Radiological procedures ARRT Registered and Iowa Permit to Practice is required.

    Essential Duties:

    Same as listed above and if ARRT Registre; Perform routine or special Radiological examinations ordered by a provider under the direct or indirect supervision of that provider or radiologist by applying and manipulating techniques and equipment and/or moving or positioning patients to obtain the best possible image(s) consistent with that equipment. This includes portable, general, and fluoroscopic equipment and accessories.
