    We have an outstanding career for opportunity for anNDT Technician to join a leading Company located in theAirway Heights, WA surrounding area.

     

    Pay Rate: $21.00/hour - $33.50/hour

     

    US Citizenship is required.

     

    Our NDT Technicians perform non-destructive testing on a variety of sheet metal aircraft components. NAS410 certified in disciplines of Radiographic and Digital X-ray , and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection .

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Process parts and interpret findings in accordance with Exotic and customer specifications and requirements.

    + Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensure revisions to established techniques meet Exotic and customer requirements.

    + Detect faulty processes and provide input for their resolution.

    + Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of NDT methods and techniques and propose solutions to problems which impact productivity.

    + Support other NDT Technicians in revising established techniques and methods.

    + Accurately document inspection findings

    + Recommends modifications to inspection procedures/techniques

    + Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers and other inspection devices

    + Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning (including correct quantities) and paperless timecard system

    + Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents

    + Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    + NAS410 certified in FPI, Radiographic and Digital X-Ray Inspection

    + Experience with X-ray (digital and/or conventional)

    + Possess documented classroom and on-the-job training hours to meet NAS410 certification requirements

    + Able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints and sketches

    + Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement equipment, such as calipers and micrometers

    + Possess adequate knowledge of Exotic manufacturing and NDT processes to be able to anticipate problems in order to implement effective and productive inspection techniques

    + General knowledge of welding and forming processes
