Overview
The Digital team is transforming the way Southern Glazer’s customers, suppliers, sales, and service organizations interact with each other through its digital experiences. The Sr. Digital Merchandiser assumes a crucial role in developing and executing merchandising strategies that position our wine, spirits, and supplies effectively for our customers. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive product discovery, engagement, and sales.
As the Sr. Digital Merchandiser at Proof, you will drive the strategy and execution of digital merchandising experiences and content across our digital platforms (Proof and app). You will own the homepage content strategy, curated and brand landing pages, and serve as a key expert in visual storytelling and customer experience design.
In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Design, Site/Digital Merchandising (SDM), Go-to-Market, and Product & Platform teams to develop enterprise-aligned strategies that support rapid experimentation and testing. Your work will be closely tied to business OKRs, with a focus on increasing customer engagement and optimizing performance.
You will report to the Director of Digital Merchandising, who oversees the broader merchandising strategy and execution for SG Proof.
Primary Responsibilities
+ **Site Experience Strategy:** Create and execute merchandising strategies that transform data and insights into actionable plans to enhance customer engagement and support business priorities **.**
+ **Website Content Strategy:** Drive a cohesive and engaging content strategy for the website. Collaborate with the Marketing, SDM, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment across the business enterprise. Provide strategic insights to creative teams, ensuring content aligns with the brand and drives performance.
+ **Site Execution and Operations Management:** Responsible for enhancing the customer journey by ensuring that story content, landing pages, and brand pages are published accurately, with compelling calls to action.
+ **Data-Driven Decision Making** : Establish measurable KPIs, build strategies to deliver and exceed KPI goals which include CTR, ATC, CVR and content attributed revenue.
+ **Data Analysis and Optimization:** Analyze sales data, customer behavior data, and web analytics to identify trends and opportunities. Report performance results to senior leadership on a regular cadence as defined.
+ **Innovation & Continuous Improvement:** Leverage technology, data, process enhancements, and emerging merchandising trends to identify and promote opportunities for growth and efficiency.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work with Marketing, Commercial, and Digital product teams increase customers engagement and new product discovery aligned to broader company goals.

+ **Stakeholder Communication:** Communicate plans and key initiatives to stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
+ **Trend Forecasting:** Identify key trend forecasts and define SG Proof’s storytelling roadmap to enhance the customer journey.
+ **Operational Excellence:** Achieve operational excellence by creating and implementing improved workflows, processes, and timelines.
+ **Customer Experience:** Drive continuous improvement of the path to purchase journey to increase conversion rates.
+ **Promotions and Campaigns:** Collaborate with Commercial and Market sales teams to design and execute effective online promotional campaigns and product launches to achieve revenue goals.
+ **Leadership and Management:** Motivated self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Possesses strong critical thinking and analytical skills, demonstrating ease in understanding and utilizing multiple data sources.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively; listens to and responds appropriately to others; presents ideas and recommendations in ways that influence the beliefs and decisions of others and inspires them to action.
+ The ability to work effectively across various functions and organizational levels to achieve desired goals.
+ Proficient in A/B testing, content management, publishing, search, and various digital merchandising tools and platforms.
+ Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities, particularly in understanding online shopping behaviors and the alcohol beverage industry.
+ A collaborative mindset that emphasizes building partnerships across different functions.
+ Empathetic approach to user needs and challenges.
+ Ability to travel overnight, approximately 30%
