    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do:

    + V2X is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Executive Assistant to support the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This hybrid role requires an exceptional communicator who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, and purpose-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high judgment, impeccable discretion, and a bias for action. This role will work closely with the broader People Team and serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Executive Support: Manage complex calendars, prioritize and coordinate meetings across time zones, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.

    + Meeting & Event Coordination: Schedule, prepare agendas, and document notes for key meetings including weekly leadership check-ins, town halls, and skip-levels. Track follow-ups and ensure accountability.

    + Information Flow: Ensure timely and accurate flow of information to and from the CHRO’s office. Draft emails, memos, and other communications with precision and tone appropriate to senior audiences.

    + Operational Rhythm: Partner with the CHRO and Chief of Staff (if applicable) to uphold the rhythm of the business including quarterly reviews, planning cycles, and key deliverables.

    + Travel & Expenses: Coordinate complex travel itineraries and ensure timely processing of expenses in accordance with company policies.

    + Special Projects: Support recruiting, onboarding, internal events, and employee engagement initiatives, often in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams.

    + Gatekeeping & Prioritization: Act as a gatekeeper for time and attention, helping ensure the CHRO is focused on the most important and strategic matters.

    + Culture & Confidentiality: Serve as a culture ambassador while upholding strict confidentiality on sensitive personnel and company matters.

    + May be required to work overtime hours, as requested, and approved by the CHRO

    + Ability to work out of the Reston, VA headquarters in a hybrid capacity (3 days/week)

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Education:

    + Bachelor' degree preferred.

    + Experience:

    + 5+ years of executive administrative experience supporting senior leaders.

    + Human Resources knowledge preferred.

    + Preferred Experience:

    + Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment such as a government contractor, tech firm, or Fortune 500 company

    + Exposure to human resources, recruiting, or corporate communications

    + Experience managing events or coordinating logistics across departments

    + Prior experience supporting HR, Talent Acquisition, or mid to large sales organizations

    + Skills:

    + Strong presence and professionalism; poised under pressure; evident enthusiasm; highly organized.

    + Exercises initiative.

    + Superb coordination and time-management expertise, with the interpersonal talent to instill confidence in others to meet agreed-upon assignments.

    + Flexible and forward-thinking.

    + Learn the business, adapt to the culture, and the people.

    + Extremely trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with discretion.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of work with speed and precision

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Comfort with ambiguity, rapid context switching, and confidential matters

    + Heavy calendaring and travel management experience required.

    + High integrity, emotional intelligence, and a sense of humor

    + Other Requirement:

    + United States citizenship, required.

    + Software:

    + Highly skilled in Microsoft Office 365 applications (advanced technical skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.)

    + Technology:

    + Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

    + The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

    + The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    + USD $ 65,000 - 115,000

    + Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
