Job Title: Surgical Hospitalist/Acute Care Surgery opportunity

Job Description: We are seeking a General Surgeon/Surgical Hospitalist/Acute Care Surgeon to join our general surgery team at South County Hospital. This unique position offers an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing high-quality inpatient surgical care without the demands of a traditional outpatient practice. Excellent opportunity for a mid-career or senior general surgeon looking for improved work/life balance. This is a part-time position with a fixed schedule; working only 7 shifts per month, covering the inpatient general surgery service. South County Health has invested in building an advanced practice provider team that will provide coverage of the general surgery service 24/7/365, allowing the acute care general surgeon to practice at the top of their license and work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications: -

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (required)

Board certification in General Surgery (required)

Minimum of 10 years of general surgery experience post training (required)
