    Responsibilities:

    * Work with operators, management, and engineering to reduce set\-up and down time of robots\.

    * Instruct and train machine operators on methods of loading and operating robots including point settings\.

    * Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including mechanical and electrical maintenance\.

    * Set up and program robots and track robot quality and productivity\.

    * Use measuring devices including tape measures, calipers, protractor, etc\.

    * Maintain existing tooling and fixtures using basic hand tools \(wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, pliers, etc\.\) for simple repairs\.

    * Where more extensive repairs are required, identify issues, and submit work orders to appropriate department for resolution\.

    * Verify weld fixture integrity by inspecting all features essential to producing a quality part\.

    * Performs welding related periodic maintenance on robotic welding systems\.

    Qualifications

    * Education: High School Diploma/GED required, mechanical or electrical vocational schooling preferred

    * Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience required

    * Technical Knowledge: Fanuc/ABB robot experience preferred

    * Experience and qualifications in welding operations
