    Project Manager - Mechanical/HVAC

     
     

    Why H.F. Lenz:

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Consult with Principals in Charge on project scheduling, cost estimates, project scopes and deadlines.

    + Responsible for project management and coordinating MEP engineering design production to meet desired service, quality and effectiveness between engineering staff, contractors and clients.

    + Review and approve project documents, modifications and changes for quality and accuracy.

    + Collaborate with and mentor engineering staff throughout design process.

    + Conduct job site observations, surveys and inspections as necessary.

    + Travel to project sites is required; some overnight travel may be expected.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience:

    + B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.

    + Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC/Mechanical building system design or facilities engineering.

    + Experience with AutoCAD is required; Revit software experience is highly preferred.

    + Demonstrated experience in project and personnel management is required.

    + MEP design experience in various commercial markets is preferred.

    + Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

    + Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.

    + Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.

    + Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.

    License(s) and/or Certification(s):

    + Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration preferred.

    + Possession of, or ability to obtain valid driver’s license.
