Photography Adjunct Lecturer

Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Teach lecture/lab Photography practices; both film-based/wet darkroom as well as digital
+ Monitor and maintain the safety of the digital lab, lighting studio, and darkroom
+ Provide excellent instruction and facilitate student engagement.
+ Provide grades and feedback on progress throughout the semester.
+ Cover the required technical and theoretical aspects of the syllabus.
+ Maintain student attendance records.
+ Submit interim and final grades by published deadlines.
+ Hold office hours.
+ Meet each class twice weekly. Each class period is 1 hour and 50 minutes

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Photography
+ Professional experience as a Photographer as demonstrated with a portfolio
+ Expertise in the use of film using 35mm, 120 and 4x5 cameras
+ Expertise in the technical aspects of digital capture technologies
+ Experience in maintaining a darkroom and lighting studio
+ Proficiency in the Adobe Suite with emphasis on Lightroom and Photoshop
+ Experience teaching in-person at the college-level
Preferred:
+ Master's Degree in Photography or a related area
+ Experience in an online Course Management System such as Brightspace
