We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with over 10 years of experience in software and mobile development, with a strong emphasis on Android. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both Kotlin and Java, and a solid record of accomplishment of successfully migrating legacy codebases to Kotlin. Experience with Android TV, Fire OS, or Android Auto is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

+ Lead the migration of existing codebases from Java to Kotlin.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

+ Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

+ Implement best practices in mobile development and contribute to architectural decisions.

+ Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

+ Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of experience in software and mobile development.

+ Proven expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java.

+ Hands-on experience with migrating Java codebases to Kotlin.

+ Deep understanding of Android architecture components and design patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.).

+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience developing for Android TV, Fire OS, or Android Auto.

+ Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Dagger/Hilt, or other modern Android libraries.
